A season of more great music

A world premier of a work written just for the California Chamber Orchestra, an appearance by the Temecula Valley Master Chorale, the return of the Italian ensemble that thrilled an earlier audience here, holiday music and classical favorites -- all are part of the Golden Valley Music Society's upcoming 2008-09 season.

Once again, the Society is partnering with the Old Town Temecula Theater's Temecula Presents series to offer a stirring classical music season that is international in scope and varied in repertoire.

Single performance tickets go on sale Aug. 25.

Two season ticket options are available, one including all seven concerts in the Classical Masterpieces series and the other a choice of five of the seven shows.

The Sunday Classics performances are sold separately and can also be ordered by mail.

The Candlelight Classics shows are available first to season ticket holders.
