In the deep blue of winter, the orchestra lightens the mood with a luscious program full of bright colors and fluffy phrasing.

Pianist Hei-Ock Kim, whose recent appearance as a finalist in Orchestra Nova's "Next Orchestra Star" competition has jumpstarted her career, performs Mozart's Piano Concerto #12.  Rounding out the program are music of Rossini and Haydn's jovial Symphony #47, nicknamed "Palindrome" for the forward-backward theme in its minuet trio.
